Anthropological Review, is an official scientific journal of the Polish Anthropological Society. It continues Przegląd Antropologiczny, the journal founded at the Univeristy of Poznań in 1926 by prof. Adam Wrzosek, a distinguished anthropologist and medical doctor (vols. 1-63) and Przegląd Antropologiczny-Anthropological Review published in English since 1997 (vols. 64-69). The journal publishes a peer-reviewed scientific papers devoted to various issues in physical anthropology and related fields of science: human biology, ecology and auxology, human population genetics, biodemography and bioarcheology; applied anthropology; and interdisciplinary fields combined physical anthropology with sciences of physical culture, health and social sciences. English is the official language of publication. The papers may have the form of original research articles (empirical and experimental), meta-analyses, overview articles, reviews of literature, polemics, short notes and communications, and boor reviews. The journal is published twice a year electronically and as a paper version. The journal access is open.
