The Journal MAM (formerly PAK) contains scientific and scientific-technical papers (15...25/issue) concerned with measuring technique, automatic control, robotics, mechatronics, technical informatics and electronics. Spectrum of papers is interdisciplinary, because encompass e.g. all technical and experimental disciplines, a lot of medical, biological, physical, and chemical disciplines, and technical diagnostics, where a measurmnt is a basis of conclusions. The paper problems can concern a theoretical as well as technical aspects of measurements of different quantities and of different process controls, regarding any influences of the environment, and of inferring and optimization on the base of experimental research.
Information concerning new applications of measuring instruments and methods, and reviews of books connected with the profile of the journal are also published. The published papers must be original. Copy rights belong to the Editorial House PAK. The paper can be published if two reviews contain a positive final conclusion. Original version of the Journal is a paper one. Free access to the to all papers published in MAM (formrly PAK) Journal after year 1990 is opened (www.pak.info.pl). MAM (PAK) papers are cited in others papers, also in the ones published in Journals recorded in Thomson Reuters List.
Papers are written mainly by university lecturers and researchers, researchers of scientific – research centers, designing offices, and manufacturing firms specialists from the country and abroad, especially from the Central and East Europe. Readers are mainly university students of technical faculties and workers of scientific, research, and developing base of industrial firms, laboratories both calibrating and testing, and measuring country service. The conception and strategy of the Journal MAM (formerly PAK) are supervised by Program Committee consisting of 13 Polish and 14 foreign members.
The PAK Journal is edited regularly in format A4. Papers can contain graphic elements both in black and white, and colour.
